Checklist of Certificates to Be Attested for Working in US

Every year, around 85,000 H1B visa applications are filed for seeking employment in the US, UK and many more countries. This is the essential document that an emigrant must have prior to working in the US as per FATCA regulation. It also allows them to study there. In the beginning, it is subscribed for 3 years. But by the end of this session, the visa holders can expand it for 3 more years.
Before flying off, the emigrants must walk through the checklist of the essential documents. Primarily, they should get these documents and certificates attested. These include Ds-160 barcode confirmation, appointment letter, I-797 form (Original H1B visa approval), I-129 (for non-immigrant workers), H classification supplement, H1B data collection, filing fee exemption supplement, labour condition application, employer’s petition for H1B visa, employment verification letter, stubs for 3 months and bank statement of 3 months.
Apart from these docs, the educational certificates such as transcripts by graduates, undergraduate & others, degree certificates, official diplomas, original I-20 form (for US degree holders), OPT card and EAD card (if applicable) are the must to be attested. Besides, the foreign employer should provide W2 tax form, tax returns 1040s, driving licence, social security card, client letter, utility bills and rental agreement/home deed if the applicant has been living in the US.
In case, the applicant is married he/she should present visa fee receipt (original), Form I-797 of the principal applicant, Form I-129, principal applicant’s valid visa copy, marriage certificate (original), photo album of wedding and the birth certificate of children (original) before the competent authority.
